Steak Night & Stay Fridays

Make your Friday night one to remember with this Bed & Breakfast package, featuring two upgraded steaks from our delicious Friday night Steak Menu. Each guest will enjoy a medium glass of Finca Valero wine-choose from the smooth Tempranillo Garnacha or the crisp Macabeo. After a hearty meal, retreat to your cosy room for a restful night, and don't forget—a delicious breakfast is waiting for you in the morning, all from just £125 per room.

Winter Stays
Embrace the warmth and charm of our inviting pub and inn during this delightful winter season at The Hare & Hounds. As the days grow shorter and the nights colder, there’s no better time to explore the enchanting nearby countryside, savour our heavenly afternoon tea, or cosy up by the fire with a comforting drink from the bar.
From 1st October 2024 to 1st March 2025 (excluding 24th–27th December, 31st December, and 14th–15th February), our special Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package invites you to indulge in a peaceful winter retreat. Starting from £175, this package includes a £35 per person allowance towards a delicious dinner in our restaurant.
To make your stay even more special, enjoy a refreshing Spritz Cocktail per person from our cocktail menu as you toast to the season. Available seven days a week, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy the enchanting ambience of winter.
Introducing Sunday Stays
Spend £100 in the bar and restaurant and stay the night for £50
Recharge and reset for the week ahead with dinner in the restaurant and a hearty breakfast that will see you start Monday with a spring in your step.

Enjoy two Grandstand tickets to Newbury Races, dinner, bed and breakfast from £350
Said to have been one of Queen Elizabeth's favourites, Newbury Racecourse sits firmly at the top table of Britain's best racecourses.
Enjoy a day of racing action from the heights of the Grandstand where'll you be in pole position to follow your favourites with a fantastic view of the track.
Return to the Hare & Hounds, a short 10 minute drive from the racecourse, for a well deserved dinner and a drink and an overnight stay.
